You get a complete and active two days trekking tour. We show you some of the best highlights of the jungle around Chiang Rai. Suitable for singles, families, and groups.

2 Day Trip Plan:

Your boat and trekking tour starts at 10.00 am - that is when your tour guide picks you up from your hotel. After a short drive to Chiang Rai boat pier, your boat cruise starts about 10.30 am. After 1-hour on the long-tail boat cruising through the Kok River and fantastic landscape, you arrive at the Karen elephant camp, where you have the option to feed and ride an elephant.

After taking care of the elephants, you proceed to the hot spring for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you start trekking - a 10 - 12 km walk - through Chiang Rai's beautiful rain forest towards a local Akha village. After a break at the village, your hiking continues to a nice waterfall - that´s your chance to join the cascade and go for a swim. 

 

From the waterfall, you continue to the nearby Lahu village where you stay overnight. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in the village with a delicious bamboo cooked dinner. You also get to sleep overnight in a bamboo hut.

The next morning, when the roosters wake you up, breakfast will be awaiting you. From there, your hiking tour continues to the tea plantation and a Chinese village. Followed by a walk to Yao and other Akha villages.

​

The final hike is to the hot spring near the Pha Soet village. There, you have the option to relax in the hot mineral water pool. From there our vehicle takes you back to your hotel. You will be at your hotel at around 17.00 pm. - 18.00 pm.
